Hey, I am Koro. I am an emerging artist from Fremantle. I studied at North Metropolitan Tafe in Visual Arts and Jewellery. I started an apprenticeship in Melbourne and realised what I wanted more than anything was to start my own business. This is my first collection. I am extremely passionate about using local, recycled materials and have spent the past year collecting silver from op shops. I love to take inspiration from the Western Australian coastline and cast crabs, seaweed and coral to create unique, sustainable jewellery which tells a story of our beautiful area without degrading the environment.
